Kia ora tatou Our international students had a wonderful outdoor camping experience on Quarantine Island last weekend as they made the most of the sunny and mild weather.  A boat trip from Port Chalmers, leaping into the harbour from the jetty, and eating plenty of barbequed food were just some of the highlights. Congratulations to Haylee Budd for her performance at the recent NZ Secondary Schools’ Rowing Championships.  Haylee was placed 5th in her “A” final, which was a fantastic achievement. Tomorrow we have a group of students departing for South America as part of their Antipodeans Abroad experience.  For almost four weeks the eight students and two staff members will be trekking, sightseeing, and helping communities in Peru.  Their experience will include a hike to Machu Pichu and a trip to Lake Titicaca.  Good luck to everyone involved as we wish you safe travels. Noho ora mai Dave Hunter PRINCIPAL
