All students participate in mass singing once a week. This is a wonderful tradition with the emphasis on enjoyment and participation. Each year there is the annual Inter-form Singing Competition.

Junior Choir, Junior Ensemble, Jazz Band, Rock Band, Madrigal Choir, College Choir, Orchestra, Theatresports, Musical / Drama Productions, Kapa Haka, Drama, Debating and Public Speaking are also available to all students.
Taieri College is fortunate to have a purpose built Music and Drama suite for these cultural pursuits.
The College participates successfully in public speaking competitions, the Shakespeare Festival, Stars on Stage, Stage Challenge, Music Festivals and Theatresport games. |
