Taieri College Netball

Netball at Taieri College is the strongest it has ever been with a record number of teams competing from year 7 right up to senior level.  As a school we compete at the highest levels within our region. 
Our Intermediate teams compete in the Taieri Plains Junior Netball competition with our year 7A & 8A teams also competing in the Dunedin intermediate grade competition in the top sections.
Our Secondary school teams both competitive and social play in the Edgar Centre on Saturdays.
Our top teams also compete in the Otago Secondary Schools Competition in early June.
Two teams travel away to tournaments in Christchurch this year, one being a year 9/10 team to the junior development tourament and two being the senior team to the South Island Secondary Schools NetballTournament.

2012 Netball

Welcome to the start of a new year and as we speak Netball is just around the corner.  Below is a timeline for the first term so everyone should be start ing to focus on fitness for trials and playing.  Remember the fitter you are the less injuries you will receive and the more enjoyment you will get from the game.

Sign Ups will be the week starting 13^th Feb at sport office.

 

We have put in the following dates for Netball Trials:

 

Year 10 Trials: 28^th, 29^th Feb with possible third trial 1^st March.

Year 9 Trials: 7^th, 8^th Mar with possible third trial 13^th March

Senior B/C Trials: 20^th,21^st Mar. Social Team lists to be submitted that week also.

 

Uniform issues will be at lunchtimes in week starting 26^th March.  So listen out for your team names.
